Transformers: More then Meets the Eye
Are you a Transformers fan? Are you planning on going to see Dark of the Moon (again) in 3D IMax? I know I want to go see it again. I'm not a huge, huge fan of the Bay-verse movies, but they are a good reboot for Transformers. I've been following several series such as: G1, Prime, Aramada and I am soon to start Animated. Prime is by far my favorite series. What is your affiliation: Autobot, Decepticon, Mini-con, etc...? Who is your favorite characters? I have too many to list, but Ironhide and Bumblebee are near the top of my favorites. I would love to find someone that I could go out on a date with to see DotM again and who knows from there where it can lead. Maybe more then will meet the eye, after all. ok...so a little crazy to be posting here but what the heck. I am basiy looking for a friend just as the ad says. Not a one night stand or anything like that - believe it or not, there are guys out there that are not gay and really are just looking for friends. I am looking for a female. For someone reason I just have never been able to bond with guys that well and for the most part, most of my friends have always been female and all of my best friends certainly have been. You are probably wondering, why am I here looking for friends. Well, first off, I am married. Yup...not going to lie to you so if this is not going to work for you then you may want to go to the next ad. Obviously, when you get married and you have a lot of friends that are female, this isn't something that will remain. So, I kind of lost them all over the years. Now I find that when I need a friend or just want to talk about things in common, I have no one to talk to. Yeah, I am married...but I have to say that over the last bunch of years, I find that we don't have a lot in common any more unfortunately. No, I am not leaving my marriage and have no plans to, nor am I looking for anything "on the side." I am just to the point that I am tired of not having anyone to talk to about the things I like to talk about. Friends.
Clearly, being married, I am not going to be able to hang out and spend a lot of time with you. So mostly looking for someone to talk to every now and then. Maybe we can have lunch. On a rare occasion, I might be able to get out for something fun. I don't know...we'll see.

I have an athletic/fit build and I am very much into keeping in shape though I don't get to exercise near as much as I would like. Love to run. Hope to do a 1/2 marathon next year but we'll see. Love racquetball and volleyball but haven't been able to play in years. Love to kayak on the lake. Big fan of boot camp exercise classes but again, haven't been able to take on in years. Would like to pick up archery some day but don't have a bow.
Despite being interested in being fit, I have zero interest in the big sports. Football, baseball, basketball etc. I could care less about professional teams and think they are all overpaid. Never watch it on TV and usually don't even know who is in the superbowl until the day of the game. Going to a live game is kind of exciting, but I think it's the atmosphere cause I usually don't have a preference for who wins.
I eat very healthy most of the time and am a gourmet cook. The food Network is one of my favorite channels. I tend to like all kinds of ethnic foods around the world and am always looking for something new to try. All this is not to say I don't do dessert though. I love dark chocolate!
I am very intelligent. Top 1% of population so they say. I like being acknowledged for the gift I have when applicable but I am also one of the last to bring this up about me. I am not a geek, nor am I someone who thinks they are always right. I am far from perfect. I am also very shy at first as much as I try not to be. I have made some really strong friends in the past but it takes me a while. Put me in a room full of strange people and I am the one you'll find standing at the wall just watching everyone. Personally, I hate this about myself, but it is part of my character unfortunately. I am definitely not a social butterfly, but at the same time, I can talk to and be acquaintances with just about anyone. There are few people in this world I don't get along with.
I am fully globally aware and read tons of news every day. Ironiy, I probably know less about the news in Nashville though. I guess I like the bigger picture better, especially when there is so much going on right now that has the potential to effect our future.
I am into politics on a general level meaning that I know who the leaders are and what's right and wrong, especially around the world. That said, I am neither Democrat nor Republican. If I had to truly pick a side, I guess I identify more with Democrats, but frankly, I think they all suck now and our country needs a major overhaul in the political arena.
I am an avid watcher of the stock market though I have nothing to invest right now. And though it may sound crazy, I think the market is predictable to a large degree given some things I have learned over the last few years.
My hobbies...I like to read and learn things. I probably spend at least an hour a day just looking things up on the internet. I am a big fan of gardening, both tropical plants for fun as well as growing fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, I don't have the land to do everything I would like.
I don't smoke, never did drugs. I do like to drink every now and then with my favorite being craft beers. In fact, I would like to try making my own and may buy a kit to start doing that soon.
